Our son loves sushi, so went in here while on holiday. Wonderful miso soup, good sushi and Japanese beer. Loved their coffee (and the cups they served it in)

The best sushi in La Rochelle. The quality of fish used is fantastic and melts in your mouth. It is run by a husband and wife that really take their time to produce high quality food.

Small Japanese restaurant with truly fantastic food! Extremely fresh fish. A lovely and friendly host. The surrounding area seemed a little more quiet than other areas in La Rochelle, but don't let that deter you. This place is great!

Absolutely fantastic food, if you are coming through La Rochelle make this place one your stops. Food is made fresh to order and everything was delicious. One of the best salmon sashimi I have eaten. Will be returning soon!!

We had an exceptional dinner at Sakura this evening, with immaculately presented and freshly prepared prepared sushi and tempura, and delightful service from the lovely husband and wife owners. I am already excited to go back in a few weeks time!

Je suis fan et exigent en sushis… et la on est servi : très bon poisson, bien coupé, peu de riz sur les sushis (équilibre bien respecté), riz bien préparé (riz sushi japonais avec le vinaigre de riz)… bref enfin des VRAIS sushis avec une bonne variété de poissons. Même le wasabi est bon. Et la petite dame qui fait le service est adorable. Je recommande franchement !

Probablement les meilleurs sushis/makis que j’ai pu goûter. Tout ça pour un tarif plus que raisonnable. Un restaurant que je ne peux que recommander!

Excellent restaurant de sushis, les propriétaires sont adorables, nous sommes accueillis dans une ambiance familiale chaleureuse. Le sushis sont raffinés, beaux et délicieux ! Le rapport qualité-prix est parfait ! Gros + pour nous, les chiens y sont accueillis comme des rois, c'est très appréciable. Nous recommandons !

Le Sakura, c'est le poisson le plus frais, le plus tendre et savoureux. C'est des menus à prix raisonnables, tout est fait à la commande. Le service est parfait, l'accueil chaleureux. En plus que l’accueil soit chaleureux, les plats sont fais minutes, ce qui leur garantit une fraîcheur irréprochable.
